#1: ENGLISH TUITION:

Opting for tuition is one of the best ways to pick up on the necessary skills as soon as possible. With the guidance of an experienced tutor, students will be able to patch up their learning gaps easily and understand where they have gone wrong with their essays. English tutors will teach in a customized manner to fulfill the needs of every student and hence students will be able to excel at a faster rate as compared to struggling alone, all by themselves.

#2: SPARK THE INTEREST:

Unfortunately, the traditional understanding that learning a language consists of grammar rule books and reading the dictionary to learn vocabulary words exists in people’s mind. This understanding has to be changed and students need to enjoy the process of learning a new language. The most crucial aspect is to create such an environment for oneself and realize that learning a new language takes lots of time.

#3: KEEP LISTENING:

We have to start from the basics. Like how a child learns his first words by listening to people speak and tries to mimic them, as a students trying to improve his language skills, the same process has to be followed.

Watching documentaries and movies will be of great entertainment and at the same time, it is an excellent platform to gain knowledge as well as to increase the vocabulary bank in your brain and help you develop your critical thinking skills. The information will be stored in the subconscious mind and the more you listen to well-spoken English interviews or documentaries or movies, the more it will be reflected in the writing.

#4: READING

Students can start off by reading simple news articles from platforms like CNN, BBC, RT, etc. It is also essential to read alternative sources instead of just reading one particular source because it can be one-sided and opinion-laden. Students should always cross-refer to other sources and then analyze as to what the facts are before forming a personal opinion on a particular subject matter.

As you progress further, you can read more complex articles like, The Economist, as the language is handled at a very professional level. Though it may seem difficult, it is good to challenge yourself and read the articles produced by them.

#5: PRACTICE:

This is probably an obvious advice heard from everyone time and again. But this is also the precise reason why this piece of advice is given by everyone; there is lots of truth in this. The more you practice mindfully, the easier it gets

The trick to following a useful practice plan is to ensure that the essays you write are being marked by a tutor. Preferably, it will be great if an English tuition teacher can look through the essays and go through the mistakes with their students one essay after another. Students can then try to implement the advice given in the following essays and get better at writing.

#6: PERSISTANCE:

It is very tempting to give up because the journey of becoming a good writer is not all that easy. Every garden of roses comes with its own prickly thorns. So, in order to get those good grades, you need to get through the struggle. Be positive and always believe in yourself that it can be done.

#7: DON’T SETTLE FOR MEDIOCRITY:

The feeling of “this is enough” is quite a dangerous one indeed; it pushes one away from success. Students should never settle for a grade they feel is enough for themselves to achieve. Everyone has the capacity to learn and widen their horizon, so everyone should try their best continuously. Aim for the best at all times no matter and that way, you will pave the path for success undoubtedly!

In a nutshell, students need to remain persistent and work hard continuously to get better at writing. With English tuition teachers’ guidance, students need to incorporate the advice given to get better with every essay practice.
